This was a comment made by one of our first customers. He was right, you would not expect to find such good wine on a working farm and sold out of an old barn. But what we lack in grand buildings we make up for with excellent wine, great service and a relaxing country atmosphere. If you judge wine by the curb appeal of the building it is sold from, then we are probably not for you. But if quality Virginia wine and down to earth, wine loving people are what appeals to you then we may be what you are looking for.

From our one-on-one service, where you can talk to the Owners about wine, to the rustic and relaxing tasting room, you will have a WINE EXPERIENCE! We offer indoor seating in the tasting room, a spacious deck area, huge open meadows where you can enjoy a picnic lunch and our "Phoenix" pavilion where you can find seating, shade, satellite music and on select Saturdays...our famous Tiki Wine Bar...."Suki's"! Our quiet atmosphere, pastoral views, and great company are a perfect way to wind down from the stress of the work week. Bring a picnic lunch. We have open meadows to enjoy, or grab a table in the tasting room, vineyard or on the deck. We are convenient to Orange, Fredericksburg, Lake Anna, Charlottesville, Richmond, Culpeper, Louisa and Barboursville. You will love the experience at Chateau MerrillAnne in Orange! If you visit on a day we are open there are NO RESERVATIONS NEEDED! If its a day we are not open and you need to stop by and pickup wine just call us at 540.656.6177, we can meet you at the tasting room for bottle sales. We will do our best to accommodate you!

Chateau MerrillAnne invites you to experience the farm elegance of our warm and intimate tasting room. A wine tasting here is not just about "Tasting" wine. It's also about exchanging wine information. It's about asking and answering questions. Its about getting to know new friends. For us, the tasting room experience is what we look forward to the most. The fun of being in the tasting room and talking wine with friends is the reason we do what we do. We are truly a wine lovers winery. No theme parties of the week, no live music, no brewery and no distillery. We are all about the wine. And while we produce mostly dry wine, we also offer Sangria and wine slushies on the weekend for our sweet lovers. In our pavilion we have Suki's Tiki wine Bar, open select Saturdays from 11 to 5 and preparing some of the most delicious wine cocktails you have ever tasted. The farm now called Chateau MerrillAnne has been in the White family for over a half century. Our multi-generational ownership drives our stewardship of these scenic meadows. Our goal is to grow superior wine grapes and give our visitors a relaxing place to enjoy our wines.
